It is a reality show like none we have yet seen - one in which we are both spectators and participants! In fact, most remain blissfully unaware of what is happening all around them as they continue on in a mindless state of pseudo-reality - sleepwalking their way through the many illusions and distractions! While the masses keep looking nervously in the direction pointed out by the State 'magicians' hand to contain hazards & hobgoblins (terrorism, natural disasters, pandemics) - they become distracted and unable to see his other hand covering up what he wishes to keep hidden for as long as possible, or at least until the next 'act' (election) - namely, the tattered and threadbare state of his 'hat' (economy). The nightmare only worsens until the sleepwalkers are awakened by the deafening sound of collapse!
The list of what many with 'eyes wide shut' have become too distracted to see grows almost non-stop! It encompasses the exercise of absolute State power of a kind known only to the most totalitarian and brutally repressive regimes throughout history - and now wielded by the rulers of the land of the free:
- The ability to detain any human being anywhere on the planet for the remainder of their natural lives - without the right of appeal to any court-of-law
- The ability to murder any human being anywhere on the planet on the say-so of only one individual - without the right to mount a case in their own defense
- The ability to submit any person to rendition to a country that practices torture - and State employment of known torture activities such as water-boarding
- The ability to abrogate any and all property belonging to someone with or without just compensation as well as to co-opt their labor to government use by force
- The waging of a brutal campaign of aggressive prosecution using draconian legislation to silence whistleblowers who dare to expose the State
- The criminalization and brutal suppression of peaceful protest using armed agents of the State and the use of psychological warfare against dissent - now labeled a mental illness
- The use of sexual humiliation and forced nudity (strip searches) to exert control over the populace - even at arrest when the presumption of innocence still applies
- The almost total removal of privacy from the communications of all citizens, through a system of universal monitoring and surveillance of electronic messages
Just a mere decade or so ago, such a list would only be associated in the minds of most people with the most dictatorial and despotic of regimes - such as with Heil Hitler, 'Uncle' Joe or Chairman Mao! Yet today a nation of sleepwalkers drifts on in a dazed stupor, buying the phony claim of 'protection'. Laboring under the illusion of being an 'exceptional' nation they continue to ignore their inner voice: "somethin' just ain't right" - even as they take their last steps through the gates of the FEMA camps!
The full flowering of the coming tyranny is now as close as imminent collapse - mere months away! The seeds have been planted, nourished and watered - even as we were distracted to look elsewhere. This reality show has been rigged to ensure we do not awaken before it is too late - and, it almost is!

(Illegal to use in war and by civilians in most countries, these bullets are designed to inflict maximum internal injuries as they expand on contact - and result almost certainly in death! Although not used by the military or the police, the DHS recently ordered 450 million of them - enough to kill every man, woman and child in the country. They refuse to provide any comment on the reasons for such a massive purchase of this extremely deadly ammunition at this time!)

Perhaps it's like shouting an alarm, unheard above the engine noise of two trains on a collision course. Or, screaming helplessly as a car slips its brakes and rolls toward a toddler playing at the bottom of the driveway.
It is gruesome imagery and I apologize for invoking it. But if anything, it may be inadequate to the prospect before us.

And don't kid yourself; they're not for target practice. It's .40 caliber ammunition, hollow point rounds that promise "optimum penetration for terminal performance." The department also has a bid out for up to 175 million rounds of .223 caliber ammunition.
This isn't the flipping army, you know. This is an internal national police force, a department that didn't even exist 10 years ago.

Supreme Court OKs Strip Searches for Minor Offenses
It's okay with the Supreme Court if you are detained and subjected to a demeaning strip-search for such serious offenses against the State as violating a leash law or having a headlight out.
Really, is being strip-searched and perhaps even forced to take a delousing shower for riding your bicycle without an audible bell reasonable? Of course not. So much for the 4th Amendment.

Police Are Using Phone Tracking as a Routine Tool
Even in the absence of judicial authorization, cell phone tracking has become widespread. An ACLU report covering more than 200 police departments finds that nearly all engage in the practice, but only a few bother with a warrant.
Would you be shocked to discover that some police departments are trying to keep their activities secret because of the legal implications? Officers have even been warned to keep their cell phone tracking out of police reports. Now what was that oath about upholding the law?

The NSA Is Building the Country's Biggest Spy Center (Watch What You Say)
The crown jewel of Federal spying is a new $2 billion, high tech center in Utah, a million square feet devoted to data gathering and storage. "NSA has turned its surveillance apparatus on the U.S. and its citizens," reports an account of the program.
The facility will help manage information from 10 to 20 domestic telecom "listening posts." "We are, like, that far from a turnkey totalitarian state," says William Binney, a former senior NSA crypto-mathematician.
