For some time now I have been looking into research available on the holocaust as occurred in WWII. This is a historical event that I have fervently believed with great disgust ever since I can remember. However, as new information has emerged from credible research I have begun to question whether that tragic event did in fact occur - at least on the massive scale that we are taught in history books. On the one hand, there is little doubt concerning the widespread crimes against humanity by the totalitarian Nazi regime led by Adolf Hitler. On the other hand, however, there are very many inconsistencies, including blatant lies uncovered from those who claim to have been a part of that human tragedy - can this be explained simply by the tendency towards embellishment by those who seek to sensationalize an already horrific crime, or is there something more to it?

While I continue to look closely into the research (including other findings that I am not yet ready to share), I felt that this recent documentary examining an award-winning holocaust film by a revered producer to expose several such inconsistencies and yes, blatant lies, would be a good place to introduce this sensitive subject. Many consider the topic taboo and are offended by even the slightest suggestion that something less severe may have transpired, while in certain countries (e.g. Germany) casting doubt on the official version can land you a lengthy stint in 'prison stripes'. Regardless, if there is nothing to hide, then any rational person should have no difficulty with continuing research and analysis. My own mind is still agnostic to what actually took place as my investigations continue - so please do not by any means take what you see and hear in this documentary to be the last word. View with an open mind to discern the inconsistencies and many questions.
