As the featured article below reminds us - "It's all been done before". No, it's not different this time! After all, there is nothing new under the sun. Our country is neither inherently better nor worse than others that went before - we are every bit as human and open to corruption and abuse as they were. This is how it happens - tyranny that is! We delude ourselves into thinking that our culture or religion is superior to any others that we feel less comfortable with and then seek to impose our will by force. All our actions are viewed as right and just while those on the other side are at least ill-intentioned if not downright evil. Meanwhile, as we continue in our blind fog of self-righteousness we fail to notice the advancing figure of tyranny creeping up in the shadows - until one day we are jolted into reality!

That day of sharp awakening is not very far off. The elements are all in place. All that is needed now is the spark to ignite the fuse that will explode once and for all the myths that all of us, wherever we may live in the world, are anything more than slaves to those calling the shots. It has been a gradual, almost unnoticed journey by the majority, who have sold their birthright for a false promise of safety and economic comfort. The one has already begun to crumble - the other has never been far behind!

One of the downsides of having government education camps (the school system) "educate" most of us slaves  is that most of us have no clue what occured prior to our own lifetimes.  And what we think we know is incorrect or never happened.
Everything that is currently going on in the US... government "stimulus", massive deficits, pending bankruptcy and the use of the crisis to institute more government controls and blame the "free market" has already happened twice in the last century in the US.  The following cartoon with the outline of the grand plan was printed in the Chicago Tribune in 1934, just after the first bankruptcy of the US Government in 1933.
