In an age of nothing, at a time when we stand at the brink of our own destruction?
Strengthen your belief in yourself, in the future of humanity, in the things of this world that cannot be easily perceived.
Awaken that which lies dormant now within your soul. Re-ignite the flame of your consciousness, and measure the strength of your conviction.
Reveal the lie.
Renounce your hatred.
Seek, find and embrace the truths you are fortunate enough to discover. Cherish them. Use them to anchor you in the sea of chaos that is the world we live in.
When twilight draws near, when you are pushed to the very limits of your soul, When it seems that all you have left are the dead remnants of the fabric of your life?

In a very real way we sleepwalk through our lives as we go on acquiring the material things we want. Most of us never manage to break free of the psychological burden of providing for physical needs - for the poor and destitute it is the next meal and even a shelter from the elements; for those in the middle it is building up the 'nest eggs': our retirement, our children's education, even for a 'rainy day'; even the wealthy do not escape the material trap as they seek to build an ever bigger empire to pass on to their heirs or to impress and surpass their peers. The fear - and shame - of ending up poor and unable to fend for ourselves economically is inculcated in almost everyone at an early age - and stays with us - even the well-off - throughout our lives. Relatively few are ever able to rise above this fear!

Advertisers and politicians alike have exploited our basic human weakness, assuring us that we must have the latest gadget or gizmo if we are to keep up with the 'Joneses' - or be protected by the State. Sadly, we become just like the lower animals referred to as we chase the cheese in our own 'rat race'! But the only way to realize our full human potential is by starting to grow beyond our 'creature' selves and begin getting in touch with what creates true wonder and awe - that is, our deeper spiritual self!

This testing time we will begin to face the full brunt of before long will challenge us to our very core! Many will run themselves to exhaustion atop a treadmill to nowhere and depart this life like animals! Some will take the opportunity to get in touch with their spiritual side and grow. The choice is yours!

EDITOR’S NOTE: I had a problem trying to write a suitable introduction to this piece, as most novice editors think they must… until I suddenly realized that this article is one of the most concise, accurate and true renditions of US American History that I have ever read,  and it speaks for itself.
The facts are delivered as straight and hard as a bare-knuckle sandwich at a brawl in a bar, and just as powerful and impressive.
Veterans, draw yourself a cool pint, or your favorite relaxing ingredient, take a sip, lean back, and read on. American History is finally being rewritten!
